For me, the question is:-
which one of Noah's family had this parasite inside of them when they were on the ark?
you're not likely to see this in an awake!
magazine, but here goes.
for those that believe in intelligent design please explain this one to me:.

i was on an official tour last week to another part of my country.
on my way to the hotel, i noticed sign-board of jw kingdom hall.
i thought i would attend sunday meeting as i knew no one would recognize me.. seeing “a new-comer” in the audience, public speaker adapted his material making it especially appealing to me.
A1 - " 1) Theory of evolution indirectly believes that there is some cause behind everything (which would ultimately reach God)"
The concept of 'god' comes very late on in the Theory of Evolution, being that it is just a construct of human imagination.
A1 - " ...even this theory indirectly praises God."
Yes, it's so wonderful how god made life, the way that every creature dies in unbearable agony, many being eaten alive by predators while running for their lives.
The 'loving' way in which god made some animals with stings.
Or the care He went to when he made venomous snakes, going to the trouble of drilling a tiny hole through a fang and attaching a sack of poison to the end of it, so that when the snake bites into its victim, the unfortunate creature slowly swells up to the point where it suffocates to death in fear and agony.
Yes...how loving the 'creator' is indeed. His 'invisible qualities' are certainly 'seen from the world's creation onwards'.

what are you're thoughts?.
also changes to it seem to be on the way.... http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2016/12/trump-vows-israel-vote-161224040133216.html.
Here's another one:-
You wake up one morning and see that the "millions now living will never die"... are all dead.
Hang on... that one has also happened. There's a bit of a pattern going on here.
What are your thoughts?

Here's one:-
You wake up one morning and see that the Generation that "will by no means pass away", has passed away.
Oh... that's right. This has already happened.
What are your thoughts?
it really is great.
i remember browsing this forum the day after i had joined it, and their was a knock on the door.
i thought it was one of my package from ups but instead it was two sisters.

No... I've found the true religion...
You're wrong... I've found the true religion...
No... you're wrong... I've found the 'real' true religion...

well here am i, a couple of years passed since my original post (link here), somewhat less mysoginistic, more open to relationships, heartbroken again.
this is an official "fuck my life" thread.. being chased by the elders makes one arrive at the conclusion that there is nothing better than not being chased by the elders.
i had a pre-jc meeting a week ago.
Going only on what you've written, it seems that you are desperate, inexperienced and immature for your age. Please don't take that as a pejorative.
Most people go through what you've described in their early teens. At that age it is easy to take things to heart, to believe everything you are told.
Sounds like you are going through that stage now at the age of 22. The good news is you are in a position to fast track through that awkward stage of life.
However, you won't achieve this falling in love with some pissed up woman already in a relationship, who met you for 5 minutes and says she loves you.
The fact you fell for that shows how much work you need to do in order to be in a position to attain the kind of relationship you desire.
The advice given so far has been fantastic. If you don't have self-esteem before you start a relationship, the relationship is going to fail.
Working on your self-esteem will help you be less desperate. Being less desperate will make you more attractive to women.
Casual dating is what you do in your teens. Might be a good suggestion to just date casually for a while, with the intention of not taking things too seriously at first. Learn to look out for women who act like the one in your story. Rejecting them will help raise your esteem and will help you prove to yourself that you are not desperate.
At the same time, keep a keen eye out for a woman who won't break your heart, one who is decent and will enhance your life, whose life you can enhance.
Oh, and just to say that generalizing women in a derogatory way won't endear you to them. Learning to express yourself in a more subtle manner will help you no end.
Good luck for the future and try not to take it all so seriously. You are very young. You have plenty of time. Just relax and enjoy meeting people.
hi i am posting for the first time although i've been looking for a few years , i was born into a witness family left when i was 12 with my parents went back at 22 pioneered became ms started to have major doubts around 2002 when there was a lot of talk about blood fractions etc have been hit and miss since i'm extremely mentally confused as to wether or not this really is jehovah's earthly organisation , i find life hard facing up to mortality etc not having the new system hope , what nailed your decision to leave ?
how did you cope with world problems on news etc ?
how did you fill the void ?
Hello Midnight.
The disorientation and stress you are feeling at the moment is a totally natural part of the process of waking up from being a JW, even though it won't feel like it right now.
The answers to your questions will come in time. This time next year you will be in a much better place.
In the mean time you will need to do a lot of reading and processing. Waking up from being a JW is a huge shock. Healing from the resulting hurt is vital and happens at its own pace.
Reconciliation to your new circumstances of mortality, world problems, etc, is a personal thing. What works for one person might not work for another. Right now might not be the best time to address such issues. Ridding yourself of indocrination might be a better thing to focus on.
Getting support is probably the most important thing you need right now, so making friends with people who are going through, or have gone through the same thing is very important.
I hope it all works out well for you.
Keep posting.
the city in which i work is flooded with those witnessing carts.
today im going to approach one of them and pretend i dont know what they believe.
gonna try and record it if i can.
I like the question:
"What would it take to prove your faith isn't true?"
Gives you a great head start.
on december 12, 2015 this statement was made by the copyright holder:.
i am presently considering three different routes to publishing crisis of conscience.
i hope to make a decision within days and plan to publish within weeks.. it has now been 50 weeks since that statement.. has the book been published yet?
If it's true that the Copyright Holder is being bribed in any way by the society then any money that is contributed is effectively being given to the society.
I think I would have to know for sure what's going on before making a contribution.
i just wanted to add my name to the many number of people who have awakened from the cult.
i have been lurking for probably 2 years now.
and i'm quite certain there are many more lurking and reading just like me.. i have to be honest and say that i most likely will not be contributing much to the discussion board.
In my defence I am a bit tipsy ha ha
A little early in the day...?
Well done for a successful fade.
Never easy for a 3rd generation.
